Job Summary

Kidex Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate

Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE)

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be certified and in good standing with the

College of Early Childhood Educators

and have experience working with children of various age groups. You should be comfortable engaging and caring for toddlers and preschoolers, have strong communication skills, and be creative in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities while embracing diversity.

Responsibilities

Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for toddlers and preschoolers. Plan, develop, and implement age-appropriate activities, programs, and curriculum. Provide individualized care, ensuring each child's physical, emotional, and cognitive development. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Maintain open and effective communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress. Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive and supportive work environment. Keep accurate records of children's development, activities, and any incidents while adhering to confidentiality policies. Uphold professional standards in line with the

College of Early Childhood Educators' Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice

Qualifications

Valid Early Childhood Education Diploma/Certificate. Certified and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators. Current Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check (within the past 6 months). First Aid and CPR certification. Up-to-date immunization records. Experience working with children of different age groups. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural environment. Passion for early childhood education and genuine enjoyment of working with children.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
