Alphabet Treehouse Childcare is a Reggio Inspired Centre in the heart of Toronto!

We are looking for dynamic individuals to join our enthusiastic team for our day to day operations. The successful candidate will be able to recognize and respond to the needs of each child and work cohesively, respectfully and professionally with other staff and families. We are looking for candidates who will help contribute to a warm and nurturing environment, where children feel safe to explore and express themselves.

We are currently looking for permanent full time Registered Early Childhood Educators (up to 40 hours).

CANDIDATES MUST RESIDE IN ONTARIO, CANADA AND MUST BE REGISTERED EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS OR IN THE PROCESS OF OBTAINING THEIR REGISTRATION WITH THE COLLEGE OF ECE.

Qualifications:

Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators

Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children between Infant and School Age

Knowledgeable and/or experienced with the Reggio Emilia philosophy

Knowledgeable and/or experienced in Emergent Curriculum practices

Ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with children, parents and staff

Ability to use tact, discretion and good judgement

Well develop problem solving and conflict resolution skills.

Able to work independently and within a team environment

Keep current with early childhood practices

Flexibility regarding assigned working hours

Excellent classroom management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication

Valid Standard First Aid/CPR training certification

Clear vulnerable person's criminal reference check willing to obtain upon hire

Up to date health and immunization records

Upon hire, you will be required to have current Standard Level C-First Aid/CPR, 2 Step TB, Immunizations (Tetanus, MMR)

Must currently reside in Ontario, Canada
