Qualifications:

have their Early Childhood Education Certificate and be registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators (

hold a current criminal check and be certified in CPR/First Aid (

) have a current vulnerable criminal check (

) have an update-to-date immunization record (

) have a minimum two years of experiences in child care settings (

required

) have knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education have experience in the preschool or the toddler child care settings be sensitive and flexible individual who is able to relate well to both children and adults be in a good physical and emotional condition to cope with day to day physical activities of young children and endure any emergency situations if such arise enjoy and is able to work in a team teaching environment have the personality and ability to provide leadership and stability for program continuity Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Responsibilities:

Create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans for young children Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities Maintain open and effective communication with parents and families Assess and monitor the progress of each child and provide individualized support as needed Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning community Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary materials Follow all licensing regulations and maintain accurate records
