Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. This role involves educating children, supporting their development, friendly with great smiles and interactive with children, and following engaged lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.

Duties

Ability to follow the curriculum that's implemented to promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment for children. Educate children through play-based learning activities that encourage exploration and creativity. Assess children's progress and maintain accurate records of their development. Communicate effectively with management/supervisor and caregivers regarding children's progress and any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for all children. Support classroom's positive environment by actively smiling and positive approach. Foster a love for learning by encouraging curiosity and critical thinking in children.

Skills

Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively. Proven ability to communicate with management. Ability to communicate clearly in English; proficiency in additional languages such as French is a plus. Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) Over 2years+ experience in a childcare setting. Strong writing skills for documentation and communication purposes. Experience working with children and implementing corrective changes through positive approaches. Energetic, positive, smiles constantly, high stamina.
