We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our team and help create an inspiring and supportive learning environment.

Position Overview

:
As a Registered Early Childhood Educator at our kids' art studio, you will play a key role in guiding young children through creative and educational art activities. You will work closely with children, supporting their emotional, social, and cognitive development, all while ensuring a fun, engaging, and safe environment. Your experience and expertise will help children explore their creativity, build their confidence, and develop important skills that last a lifetime.

Key Responsibilities

:

Lead and facilitate art-based activities for children in various age groups. Create and implement developmentally appropriate programs that encourage creativity, self-expression, and problem-solving. Foster a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Observe and document children's progress and development, providing feedback to families as needed. Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment for children to explore art and creativity. Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute special events, workshops, and activities. Build strong relationships with children and families, ensuring excellent communication and support. Support children's social, emotional, and physical development through art and play-based learning. Stay informed on current early childhood education practices and incorporate them into daily activities.

Qualifications

:

Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE). Experience working with young children, preferably in a creative or arts-focused environment. Strong knowledge of early childhood development and best practices in child education. Passion for art, creativity, and fostering children's imaginations. Ability to develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. A positive, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.16-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
