We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Teacher to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. This role involves planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, supporting children's social and emotional development, and collaborating with parents and staff to ensure a positive educational experience.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement creative lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning
Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through tailored activities
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to promote a collaborative educational atmosphere
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
Utilize computer skills for documentation, reporting, and educational resources management
Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques
Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of children, including those with disabilities or special needs
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education
Experience
Prior experience working with children in classroom settings or childcare environments is highly desirable
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and curriculum development
Bilingual abilities in English and French are a plus, especially when working with diverse populations or children with special needs
Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is preferred
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members
Proficiency in computer operation for educational planning, record keeping, and communication purposes
Demonstrated organizational skills and time management to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
Leadership qualities that inspire trust and foster positive classroom dynamics
