We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Assess children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs, including those of children with disabilities or special education requirements.
Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and collaboration.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development.
Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Lead classroom activities that promote language development in both English and French for bilingual learners.
Manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential.
Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in French is highly desirable.
Knowledge of special education practices and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus.
Proven leadership abilities and effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent organizational skills to maintain classroom order and manage educational materials effectively.
Proficient computer skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and communication purposes.
Ability to write clear reports and documentation related to student progress and classroom activities.
