Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, particularly with children, and will be committed to providing high-quality psychological services in a hospital setting. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to support the mental health and well-being of our patients.

Duties

Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for patients, particularly focusing on children with special education needs. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs. Provide therapy and counseling services to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Engage in data collection and research activities to contribute to the advancement of psychological practices within the organization. Stay informed about developments in medical terminology and psychological research relevant to patient care.

Skills

Strong knowledge of data collection methods and research techniques in psychology. Experience working with children, particularly those requiring special education services. Proficient in patient care practices within a hospital environment. Familiarity with medical terminology related to psychological assessments and treatments. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence in clinical decision-making.
