We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Regional Recruiter to join our team. This role is essential in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent across various regions. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for recruiting, and the ability to represent our organization professionally. As a Regional Recruiter, you will play a key role in shaping our workforce and supporting organizational growth through effective talent acquisition strategies.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement regional recruitment strategies to meet staffing needs
Conduct outreach and engagement activities to attract qualified candidates
Screen resumes, interview candidates, and coordinate hiring processes
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific regional staffing requirements
Represent the organization at job fairs, community events, and educational institutions
Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and candidate pipelines
Utilize various recruiting tools and platforms, including Ellucian systems, to manage applicant data
Provide guidance and support to candidates throughout the interview process
Promote the organization's brand as an employer of choice within the region
Skills
Strong public speaking and presentation skills for engaging with diverse audiences
Experience with Ellucian or similar applicant tracking systems is preferred
Proven recruiting experience with a track record of successful placements
Excellent interpersonal and teaching skills to effectively communicate organizational values and expectations
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across regions
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Adaptability and cultural awareness to connect with candidates from varied backgrounds
Qualifications
Minimum
5 years of professional experience
in
international education, student recruitment, or marketing
.
Strong understanding of the Southeast Asian education market.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in English (and an additional Southeast Asian language is an asset).
Currently
based in Vancouver, BC
and legally eligible to work in Canada.
Compensation
Base rate plus commission per enrolled student (negotiable based on experience).
