Position Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, Regional Skating Coach to join our team for the 2025-2026 skating season. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for skating, a positive attitude, and a commitment to helping skaters reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver on-ice and off-ice training sessions for Pre-CanSkate, CanSkate and STARSkate.

- Conduct assessments and evaluations for CanSkate and STARskate levels.

- Develop individual routines for skaters.

- Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to skaters.

- Maintain open communication with skaters, parents and Board of Directors.

- Assist in organizing club events such as seminars, Christmas showcase, end of season ice show and competitions.

- Collaborate with fellow coaching staff to ensure program consistency and excellence

Qualifications:

- NCCP Regional Coach "In Training" (minimum); higher certification levels are an asset

- Registered and in good standing with Skate Canada

- Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening

- Availability to coach evenings and weekends throughout the skating season

- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Compensation:

Competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
