Position: Regional Sales Manager

Great News! Quantum is looking to hire a Regional Sales Manager for a great client in the security and access control products and solutions industry. This role is home based and will be responsible for the territories in Toronto GTA and Northern, Southern, and Western Ontario regions. This role will report into the Managing Direction based in Quebec.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for sales, strategic account planning, overall relationship management, at both the end-user and partner level, while developing new and existing accounts to heighten sales within the region
- Proactively develop large project opportunities encompassing a wide range of hardware, software products and services
- Maturing sales with all verticals as well as responding to RFPs
- Foster resilient business relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the Operations and the IT departments to understand and deliver impactful solutions
- Maintain target customer intelligence data within the CRM System
- Provide timely and accurate sales forecast reports and generating a healthy pipeline
- Be cognisant of competition and technology disruptors that may impact the territory including partner community
- Adopt new key characteristics of products/solutions and communicate the value of those solutions to partners and end-users
- Recruit and manage regional partner network along with integrators, including developing a healthy end-user base
- Develop, source, and manage the regional network which also entails end-users
- Conduct joint end-user site surveys, job walks, takeoffs, etc., with the partner community to effectively apply company\'s solutions to meet customer requirements
- Manage Regional and End User experience within Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Northern, Western, and Southern Ontario
Education and Experience:
- At least Five (5) years of practical outside sales and applications experience, preferably within the following area\'s of, door/lock industry, CCTV, integration of security systems, SaaS, electronic access control software/hardware, to support electro-mechanical devices and related security products
- Experienced with consultative-selling techniques to major decision makers at all levels
- Experienced surrounding IT/Hardware sales within a competitive landscape along with customer procurement processes in all verticals
- Experience with managing Channel Partners and direct sales responsibilities
- Post-Secondary education in a related field
- Effective and proven negotiation skills
- Strong relationship management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Highly effective communication skills (oral, written & presentation)
- Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and CRM tools
- Experience with Locking Solutions both Mechanical and Electromechanical, including Door Hardware is highly desired
- Ability to travel in within the assigned territory up to 50% of the time and on occasions to other territories in Canada
- Valid drivers\' license in good standing
- Valid Passport for travelling to the US for training and/or trade shows
