POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Vice President, National Sales, the Regional Sales Director is responsible for ensuring that the sales activities in assigned territory are carried out in order to achieve iA Dealer Services' objectives. This position is accountable for the development, maintenance, and administration of the complete suite of F&I products through a sales force who deals directly with the automotive dealer body.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
iA Dealer Services develops and markets creditor's group insurance, extended warranty and appearance protection, anti-theft, and vehicle replacement coverage through automotive dealers.

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for leading, managing and developing their sales team to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals. The Regional Sales Director assumes responsibility for a large portion of the territory's overall revenue goals. The Regional Sales Director is also responsible for driving the professional development of sales managers and staff on their team, including mentorship, training, and performance evaluation. Provides input to senior management into the go-to-market strategy for their territory. The Regional Sales Director must understand the overall business of the clients in their territory and how to assist the sales team in positioning iA Dealer Services products, messaging, and services.

The Regional Sales Director is responsible for overseeing that their team is effectively supporting the sales opportunities of their assigned area. This position ensures risk management and compliance with laws and regulations governing the processes for which he/she is responsible, including ensuring that controls are in place, adhered to, executed and effective. The position requires the ability to multitask between team members in their support of different clients, sales opportunities, and other initiatives. Acts as an enabler to remove both internal (iADS) and external (customer, partner) roadblocks and help their staff resolve challenges in support of sales opportunities.

PREFERRED SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

An individual who has 10 to 15 years related experience, preferably in the automotive, financial or insurance industry. Preferred background would include a combination of all industries. Formal education would likely include an undergraduate degree at an accredited university or college, preferably in Business / Commerce, with an emphasis in marketing.

Extensive knowledge of the operations of a business office, including financing plans and effective sales techniques to assist the dealership in maximizing the potential of the aftersales market. In addition, the incumbent must be familiar with the various group creditor insurance products and effective sales strategies to market to the dealers.

Develop and maintain a solid understanding of our products, services, policies, guidelines and support the development of financial agreements with our partners.

Effective management of the sales force is essential to ensure their growth and to achieve annual business plan.

Experience in managing teams that deal with adversity, changing markets and new competitors while still achieving production goals.

High degree of motivation and professionalism with advanced organizational, negotiation, change management, problem solving skills, process management, leadership, coaching, mentoring, resource management, and team building skills.

Possesses high level of specialized sales and product solution knowledge and a solid understanding of iADS competitive industry.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM, and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.com

Ability to travel 50 % of the time within assigned territory and other locations including Corporate HQ.
