We\xe2\x80\x99re growing and looking for a passionate, driven and energetic candidate to join our team for the position of Regional Director of Residential Operations for an 18-month contract position.

Looking for a chance to make your mark in a fast-paced, professional and fun environment? As the successful candidate you would be responsible for overseeing multiple territories within Skyline Living, which includes guaranteeing efficiency and profitable operations, while ensuring ongoing tenant satisfaction and retention for all properties. This role will also provide mentorship and development of Property Managers and will work closely with fellow Regional Directors to support Skyline\'s shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people and our communities.

What we look for:

  • Extensive experience with all aspects of property management (minimum 5 years experience as a Property Manager or comparative role).
  • Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act and Landlord and Tenant Board guidelines and processes (to keep us out of trouble).
  • Working knowledge of relevant employment legislation (Employment Standards, Health and Safety standards, Human Rights, etc.), especially including WSIB and the Act.
  • Able to read and understand financial statements, as well as demonstrate good understanding of fiscal management and be accountable for the financial success of the regions you oversee.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior multi-tasking and organizational skills while remaining detail oriented.
  • Able to be proactive with good problem solving skills, judgment and innovation.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership and customer service skills with an enthusiasm for working with the public.
  • Capable of operating under pressure and meeting deadlines.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule and travel. Travel will vary from long day trips across Ontario to multiple days traveling across provinces required.
