:Position Summary:This position is responsible for maintaining and ensuring Surveillance Video Management systems operate in accordance with functional design specifications through systematic and defined activities/processes, as well as maintenance and support of multiple assigned systems within established performance criteria. Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all employees.Key Accountabilities:\xc2\xb7 Responsible for overall performance and availability of assigned VMS\xc2\xb7 System optimization activities including, but not limited to patching, upgrading, and performance tuning\xc2\xb7 Analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of system hardware, software and networking issues up to and including system operating system\xc2\xb7 Performance of high-level root cause analysis for service interruptions, resolution of issues and creation of preventive measures\xc2\xb7 Develop change requests including implementation, communication, testing and back out plans.\xc2\xb7 Maintenance of system documentation and provision of reports on maintenance contracts, SLAs and warranty information on of assigned systems\xc2\xb7 Monitor, review and administer system health checks and daily backup processes\xc2\xb7 Establish and maintain IT processes supporting assigned systems\xc2\xb7 Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments\xc2\xb7 Builds strong working relationships with all operational departments, guests and vendors\xc2\xb7 Complies with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations\xc2\xb7 Performs other duties as assigned or directed\xc2\xb7 Maintains technical databases and software\xc2\xb7 Trains employees on equipment use\xc2\xb7 Prepares and follows an approved Preventative Maintenance Schedule\xc2\xb7 Liaises with end users, vendors and technical teams on troubleshooting and issue resolution activities\xc2\xb7 Administers application security and performs associated reconciliation and validation to ensure compliance\xc2\xb7 Monitors application performance, stability, and licensing compliance\xc2\xb7 Develops and maintains technical documentation to ensure it is current and accurateEducation and Qualification Requirements:\xc2\xb7 Post-Secondary education in information systems or suitable combination of education and experience.\xc2\xb7 Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication.\xc2\xb7 Microsoft MCSE Server Infrastructure a strong asset\xc2\xb7 TCP/IP Networking experience a strong asset\xc2\xb7 Computer literacy in MS Office and MS Windows\xc2\xb7 Alarm and Security Technician Certification an asset\xc2\xb7 CCTV/NTSC video signal experience a strong asset\xc2\xb7 Computer hardware and software troubleshooting experience an asset\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of AutoCad an asset\xc2\xb7 Honeywell, Avigilon, Milestone, Genetec VMS certifications an asset\xc2\xb7 Valid Class 5 Drivers LicenseSpecial Working Conditions:As a publicly traded company our reputation is of paramount importance.
