Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Journeyman Air Conditioning Teck to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining air conditioning systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience in HVAC systems, plumbing, and maintenance.

Duties

Design and implement air conditioning systems tailored to client specifications. Conduct regular maintenance checks and troubleshooting on HVAC units to ensure functionality. Repair and replace faulty components in air conditioning systems, including compressors, fans, and thermostats. Collaborate with construction teams to integrate HVAC systems into building designs. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and configurations. Perform welding tasks as needed for system installations or repairs. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance schedules. Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians as necessary.

Qualifications

Proven experience in HVAC engineering or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair and maintenance. Familiarity with plumbing systems and boiler operations is preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics effectively. Experience in construction environments is a plus. Welding skills are highly desirable for system installations. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 70 per week
