Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Red Seal Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our Trades Tutoring team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, including design, installation, and maintenance. This role involves providing trade instruction to apprentices working towards their next level or exam. Working with individual or small groups of apprentices, the Red Seal provides tutoring opportunities two evenings a week - one in-person class and an online option.
Responsibilities
Mentor individual or small groups of trade apprentices to support their trade exam preparations. Assist learners by discussing trade specific questions and providing guidance and resources. Record learner progress
Experience
Red Seal Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic with 3 years recent experience. Available 5.0 hours per week, one evening in-person class and one evening online session. Confidence in trade math an asset. Be patient, non-judgemental and responsive to a learner's needs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 per week
Work Location: In person
