Help us cheer on the Ottawa RedBlacks!We are looking for....Catering Servers for TD Place Stadium.Associates are expected to assist in the success of an event. As not two events are the same, this employee will have the opportunity to experience some of the numerous and unique events that TD Place has to offer. From working as a buffet attendant, to working a bar, to being a server for a fine dining dinner, an employee will gain both knowledge and experience in multiple Premium Levels of Food & Beverage service.Employees are expected to perform their duties and responsibilities in an efficient and effective manner. Furthermore, the expectation is to perform these duties while working as a part of a team during busy working periods.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Complete duties for the assigned catering services for the assigned catering event, including but not limited to Bar Roles, Buffet and Beverage Stations Attendant, Concessions style service, fine dining service, and game day service. May be assigned to work any of these services depending on the event needs Be on time and ready for work in approved uniform and non-slip shoes. Maintain knowledge of the available food & beverage offered during the event Follow instructions on the Banquet Event Order (BEO) Always exceeds guest expectations

• Take proper inventory of products throughout the event

Take beverage orders from guests in a timely & friendly manner, while following smart serve guidelines Establish rapport with guest, effectively using suggestive and upselling techniques Able to resolve customer complains in a friendly and service-oriented manner Ability to process a transaction on the POS in a friendly and timely manner

• Ensure all stations and areas are clean and ready for service throughout the entirety of the event
• Ensure all station are always full
• Clean surroundings tables and counters spaces throughout the event
• Provide table service using proper serving techniques and guidelines
• Complete closing duties in timely manner

Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests Notify supervisor/manager of maintenance issues Know locations of event spaces in the stadium

• Maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
• All other tasks as delegated by Team Lead, Supervisor or Manager.

Team Displays a positive attitude toward teammates and managers Helps fellow team members whenever necessary Always on time and ready to perform required dutiesPhysical Demands/ Work Environment Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs. Frequent periods of standing and walking Outdoor venue subject to changing environmental conditions. Frequent use of stairs. Size of Stadium tends to involve higher physical demands on event days. Sensory Attention: this environment is a noisy loud environment on event days.Language Skills English is the working language at this job location. Candidate must be able to understand, read, write, and speak English. French is considered an asset; but is not mandatory.Qualifications Must have completed high school or equivalent. Relevant work experience will be considered an asset. Must be bondable, and pass an employer-administered background check. Must be able to demonstrate mathematical skills Must possess a valid Smart Serve Certificate Must be able to multi-task Must be able to work in a fast pace environment Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.Job Type: Part-timeSalary: $15.00 per hourCOVID-19 considerations:
