Under the direction of the Events Manager, Offsite Catering & Events, the Office Catering Server is accountable for the food services and maintenance of a high profile client account for weekdays Monday to Friday, 7:00am- 4:30pm. Daily operations of the position also including timely packing of foods/ food delivery services and maintaining the office breakfast and lunch catering & beverage services.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Builds and maintains relationships with the client and their guests, team members and senior management alike
  • Interact directly with the clients/ guests showing strong industry knowledge of all food and beverage offerings
  • Regularly monitors and achieves the O&B points of technical service and points of details
  • Ensure all details from the Banquet Event Order (BEO) are met, liaising with the kitchen and client
  • Create and ensure correct systems are followed to allow for accuracy of services as noted on BEOs
  • Ability to independently setup, execute and tear down of the client\'s food service, in timely manner
  • Ensure closing duties are completed with attention to detail
  • Work directly with Culinary team, communicate last minute details and pick up food within small window periods
  • Reinforces the O&B values daily
  • Demonstrates high personal integrity, business ethics and takes every opportunity to promote the company
  • Uses conflict/resolution and problem solving skills
  • Ensure catering facility and client\'s space is well maintained, repaired and spotless at all times
  • Additional general office duties may include inventory, ordering, packing for offsite events, preparing for next day\'s food delivery orders etc.
ONSITE AGENDA EXPECTATIONS
  • 7:30am morning task food delivery services check
  • 8am breakfast and coffee service delivered to client
  • Afternoon tasks include prepping for all food delivery services for next day
  • 12pm-2:30pm lunch service- Active floor maintenance in client\'s space for food service and tear down
  • Closing duties from 2:30pm-4pm include food delivery service set up for the next day
Qualifications
  • Excels at working independently and taking ownership of their role
  • Minimum 1 years\' experience in fast pace food and beverage industry
  • Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be attentive to details in a fast paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a large and variable work load, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned work
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to stand for long hours
  • Ability to lift 15kg minimum
  • Strong business acumen and independence
  • Team player
