Your job will be entirely at our headquarters in Salmon Arm, BC. Compensation starts from $40 to be negotiated based on education and experience.

You get two weeks of vacation each year and can be taken on an earned basis. Any vacation requests must first be approved by the

Maintenance and Plant Expansion Manager

.

If you do successfully complete the 90-day probation period, we welcome you to participate in the Extended Health Benefit Plan. This plan is 100% funded by Dinoflex so there is no cost to you.

You are entitled to five paid sick days per calendar year as per provincial regulations.

As a Millwright, your primary responsibility is to complete maintenance work orders with a strong focus on quality and precision. This requires accurately following the directions from the Maintenance and Plant Expansion Manager, operating your own tools, and being willing to learn new repair and maintenance tasks. Above all, you must do this with a Safety Above All attitude and approach.

You will be assessed on these objectives:

Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and mechanical systems, including conveyors, presses, and automated machinery.

Interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and manuals to determine work procedures and ensure accurate installations and alignments.

Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections to identify wear, misalignment, or potential failures, ensuring minimal unplanned downtime.

Operate precision tools and machining equipment to fabricate or modify components. Perform cutting, grinding, fabricating and welding as required.

Proven ability to troubleshoot HMI, PLC, and CNC controlled computer systems for diagnoses and fixes including precision machinery.

Collaborate with production and operations teams to optimize equipment performance and implement process improvements.
