Job Description

Responsibilities:

Must have residential & commercial construction experience
- Assemble and fabricate structures and framing using hand and power tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings to determine specifications and materials needed
- Measure, cut, shape, and join materials (wood, fibreglass, drywall, etc.) according to specifications
- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, stairs, and moulding
- Inspect and repair damaged frameworks or structures
- Collaborate with other carpenters and construction team members to ensure timely completion of projects

- Other duties as assigned by General Manager

Skills:
- Proficient in carpentry techniques including measuring, cutting, shaping, and joining materials
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Familiarity with various hand and power tools used in carpentry

This position requires a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills are also important for collaborating with other professionals on construction projects.
