We are seeking a motivated Talent Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to help grow our Technical Teams.

Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.



Meaningful work you will be a part of

The Talent Coordinator will play a key role in supporting our talent acquisition efforts, with a strong focus on technical talent. This would include:

Technical Recruitment Support Resume Review and Initial Screening: Conduct initial reviews of technical resumes, identifying relevant skills, experience, and educational backgrounds for engineering and other specialized roles. Candidate Coordination: Support the full recruitment lifecycle for technical positions, including job postings, complex interview scheduling (often with multiple technical stakeholders), and offer coordination. Understanding Technical Requirements: Develop a foundational understanding of technical terms, roles, and requirements (e.g., programming languages, frameworks, methodologies) to effectively communicate with candidates and hiring managers. Employer Branding & Events Professional Event Coordination: Support the planning, coordination, and logistics for professional job fairs, and industry meetups. Company Representation: Attend recruiting events and job fairs, acting as a professional and engaging representative of the company and its open positions, while reinforcing our employer brand. Candidate Experience: Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the entire process, serving as the primary point of contact and brand ambassador. Talent Acquisition Team Support & Special Projects Administrative & Operational Support: Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support across our Talent Acquisition team, including ad-hoc job postings, reference checks, and other recruitment-related tasks. Recruitment Process Improvement: Support special projects focused on continuous improvement of the recruitment process. ATS Maintenance & Support System Optimization: Support the maintenance and optimization of our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency. Reporting: Assist with generating recruitment reports from the ATS as needed. Cross-Functional Talent Operations Support Talent Team Collaboration: Provide operational support to the broader Talent Operations team on an occasional, as-needed basis (e.g., during high-volume periods or critical deadlines).

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:

Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Science, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of prior in-house recruitment coordination experience, with demonstrated exposure to technical recruitment for engineering roles. Proven experience with ATS maintenance and support. Dayforce experience is an asset. Experience coordinating events or similar projects is highly desirable. Technical Acumen: An aptitude for understanding technical concepts and terminology, particularly within engineering or product development environment. Key Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong listening skills and an understanding of confidentiality. Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook) with the ability and willingness to learn new applications quickly.

Compensation

Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates with more or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted.

As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium's stock option plan.

$55,000 - 68,000 (CAD Annually)
