Candidate Profile Details:

  • Degree/Certifications Required: Recruiting cert is a plus but not required
  • Years of Overall Experience: 8 years
  • Need someone proactive with an Agile mindset that does not wait for things to happen. Good team player. Shows initiative. Does not have to be reminded of deadlines. Will volunteer for initiatives, proactive candidate. Someone who can hit the ground running in the role.
  • 8+ years of recruiting experience with some Tech recruiting background. I can compromise on the number of years of tech recruiting background if the candidate shows polish and can be a Talent Advisor in the true sense
  • Good communication skills as this role would involve interacting with Sr Leaders in Tech LOB and HR partners
  • How will performance be measured: Verbal feedback
  • Selling Points of Position (CVP): Long term contract, opportunity to work with Client transformation teams (Example AI).
Summary Of Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
  • Talent Advisors for their LOB's
  • Relationship building with leaders within the bank
  • Full cycle recruitment for tech roles
  • Following Bank processes for hiring
Customer:
  • Act as the Talent Advisor for a designated portfolio, informing talent decisions with acute knowledge of the organization and businesses supported, having deep expertise of external markets with an objective to continuously upgrade talent
  • Manage end to end aspects of the recruitment process / specialized acquisition program
  • Develop and execute innovative talent strategies, leveraging industry best practices and market data to proactively target qualified active and passive candidates to build a robust pipeline of diverse talent
  • Advise business leads on talent market gaps and provides insights on alternate practices and opportunities
  • Execute on determined plans and provides insight/ guidance to clients on benefits of approach
  • Focus on creating an optimal Hiring Manager and candidate experience throughout the recruiting cycle aligned to Client's customer experience model
  • Maintain expert knowledge of HR policies, procedures and programs as they relate to recruitment
  • Cultivate strong relationships with HR partners, HR CoEs and business stakeholders to understand current and future talent needs and provide consultation on optimal sourcing approaches
  • Maintain, analyze and leverage accurate recruitment metrics and reporting to inform sourcing and recruitment activities; consult with hiring managers
  • Promote Client brand in the marketplace through developing and maintaining strong candidate and industry networks
  • Lead advertising and brand activities to attract talent, utilizing internet / intranet / social media and other recruiting tools as appropriate
  • Represent Client in various recruitment functions as needed
  • Generally interacts with executive level managers up to and including the most senior management layers
Shareholder:
  • Prioritize and manage own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity
  • Adhere to enterprise frameworks or methodologies that relate to activities for the talent acquisition function
  • Follow and recommend internal and industry regulations and operating practices in completing and recording transactions for either the organization or candidates
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite of the Bank
  • May lead special initiatives by representing Client/ the business internally and externally, as a subject matter expert
  • Monitor and communicate the effectiveness of plans, programs, and practices related to own area of expertise
  • Ensure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meets business needs, complies with internal and external requirements, and aligns with HR priorities
  • Conduct internal and external research projects; support the development/ delivery of presentations / communications to management or broader audience
  • Keep abreast of and advise the team on emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements in the discipline and assess potential impacts Ensure the prompt and thorough resolution of escalated issues

  • Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage ones time.
  • Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
  • Knowledge of legal policies and procedures related to hiring practices and other work related activities.
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection and training.
  • Knowledge business and management principles involved in strategic planning. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent training required.
  • 10+ years customer service related experience required.
Must-Have Hard Skills:
  • Technology recruitment (overall 10 years of recruitment, 2 to 3 years of tech recruitment)
  • Corporate recruitment experience
  • Agile mindset
Soft Skills:
