NHI aka Nursing & Homemakers Inc is a nursing agency located in Scarborough. Providing registered nurses, registered nursing assistants, personal support workers to hospitals and community clients since 1985.

Our team is looking to hire a talent acquisition representative with a minimum of one year experience in the staffing agency industry. The ideal candidate will be an assertive self-starter with a passion for providing top quality recruiting services. We are searching for someone who can be a reliable, dedicated and highly motivated member of our staffing agency team.

Responsibilities:

Lead the interviewing process to fill open positions actively and efficiently Represent and promote NHI's brand and value proposition at external recruitment events in a positive and professional manner. Responsible for new hire administration and assist with orientation completion in alignment with recruitment priorities. Develop a pool of qualified candidates for both regulated and unregulated health care professional. Thoroughly screen candidates while adhering to NHI's Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding policies and standards, including but not limited to, referencing, security and vulnerable sector screening . Monitor retention of new hires and understand reasons for turnorver in order to incorporate this in the recruitment /retention strategy. Adhere to NHI's Policies and Procedures Participate in quality activities and continuous improvement initiatives in keeping with the company's Quality Management System. Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information and discuss same only with appropriate NHI personnel. Promote services through the use of social media. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

EDUCATION

College or university graduate with Human Resources speciality

WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum of one year current work experience.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $25.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
