Role Summary
As a Recruiter, you will lead full?cycle recruitment for one of Canada's premier luxury resorts. You will be responsible for attracting, hiring, and retaining exceptional talent across all areas of hospitality, while nurturing strong relationships within the community and across the resort.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Human Resources, you will serve as a trusted partner to department leaders, proactively identifying staffing needs and building a talent pipeline that supports both current and future operations. Accountabilities
Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy that supports all staffing needs, including immigration pathways where applicable
Research, recommend, and manage external recruitment advertising and partnerships
Serve as the primary contact for recruitment vendors, agencies, employment services, and academic institutions
Collaborate with department leaders to understand staffing requirements and provide regular reporting
Create and post job descriptions, manage candidate flow, and maintain recruitment platforms (Indeed, Hcareers, LinkedIn, etc.)
Coordinate interviews with a focus on LQA?aligned service standards
Prepare conditional offers, conduct reference and background checks, and complete offer letters and onboarding documentation
Organize and represent the resort at recruitment events
Build strong relationships with colleges and universities to promote employment opportunities
Leverage social and professional networks to identify top talent
Stay informed on industry trends and emerging recruitment strategies
Demonstrate the JW service philosophy by welcoming every guest and associate with genuine warmth, eye contact, and a friendly greeting
Uphold all safety, environmental, and workplace standards
Requirements
1-2 years of recruitment experience
Previous resort or hospitality experience is an asset
Exceptional discretion, professionalism, and tact when handling confidential information
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Flexibility to work varying hours based on operational needs
