Vancouver Phoenix Gymnastics (VPG) is seeking passionate, energetic, and dedicated

Gymnastics Coaches

to join our growing team. As one of Canada's leading gymnastics clubs--with over 50 years of history--Phoenix offers programs for athletes of all ages and abilities, from toddlers taking their first steps in the gym to national-level competitors.

The ideal candidate is a motivated coach who thrives in a collaborative and supportive environment and is eager to make an impact on the next generation of athletes. You'll be responsible for instructing students in safe, engaging, and skill-appropriate gymnastics lessons, fostering confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of physical activity.

Duties and Responsibilities



Plan and deliver structured gymnastics lessons tailored to different ages and skill levels (GFA and/or Competitive programs). Demonstrate proper techniques and provide clear, constructive feedback to help athletes progress safely. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including equipment checks and proper spotting techniques. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming training environment. Monitor and record athlete progress, communicating key updates to parents or guardians when needed. Collaborate with other coaches and program leads to foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere. Support special events, recreational showcases, or competitions as required. Model VPG's values of

Skills and Qualifications



Legally eligible to work in Canada.

NCCP Level 1 / Gymnastics Foundations certification (minimum).

Certified in First Aid

(or willing to obtain certification). Strong knowledge of gymnastics fundamentals and safety procedures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and encourage athletes. Experience coaching or teaching youth in a sport or recreation setting (preferred). Energetic, patient, and positive team player.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.85-$40.39 per hour

Work Location: In person
