Prince Rupert Gymnastics Association is a gymnastics center in Prince Rupert, BC. We are inclusive, fast-paced, and fun, and our goal is to provide quality gymnastics to the community of Prince Rupert and surrounding areas.

Prince Rupert Gymnastics Association is pleased to be offering a position for a P/T Recreational Gymnastics Coach. This is an entry level coaching position perfect for anyone who can work evenings and weekends. Coach training and mentorship will be provided (Gymnastics Foundations and Trampoline).

Coaches will be responsible for running recreational gymnastics classes such as Jr and Sr Rec, Kinder Gym and Parent and Tot programs as well as facilitating birthday parties and Pro-Day/Spring Break/Summer Break Camps. The candidate should love to work with children with an interest in their physical development, have an enthusiastic and fun personality, be able to work independently and prepare and follow lesson plans.

Hourly wages are based on training and experience. Starting wage will be minimum wage ($17.85) and increase as certifications are received.

Established in 2014, the Prince Rupert Gymnastics Association (PRGA) is a Non-Profit organization which has experienced phenomenal growth in a very short period of time. The community of Prince Rupert is full of vibrant and active people and annually our gymnastics club holds over 300 memberships with Gymnastics BC in the past years with capacity now to double the membership in our new facility. PRGA has raised over $600,000 to build and equip our facility with the best equipment out there! We have a strong competitive program with 30 athletes participating in this current season including a strong MAG program that we continue developing as well as a pre-competitive program. An asset would be experience coaching WAG, MAG, trampoline and parkour as we are look to continue expanding programs to include more of these classes. Our recreation program is full of fun and active children!

Pay: $17.85-$23.00 per hour
