Pegasus Gymnastics is looking for KinderGym and Recreational coaches to join our growing team. We teach quality gymnastics in a family-friendly environment, with Three locations, NW, SE and SW of Calgary.

Schedule:

Weekday evening availability Weekend availability
NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:

Reporting directly to the Program Director, KinderGym and Recreational coaches will be responsible for their own classes. The position will be mainly in the evenings and the weekends. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and positive personality, enjoy working with kids, be responsible and be willing to work in a team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Level 1 Foundations (Trained), Level 1 Trampoline (Trained), MED, Respect In Sport, or are willing to obtain Good leadership and communication skills Possess excellent knowledge of gymnastic safety Possess a valid First Aid certificate, or are willing to obtain A compassionate, caring individual who enjoys working with children Police check and child welfare check All other AGF and GYMCAN required courses
Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

Arriving and being prepared for your scheduled time Set up and tear down/put away equipment and props Welcoming and checking in athletes Managing your group and following scheduled rotations Teaching skills and online evaluations Reporting to the supervisor on duty: safety issues, incidents, and injury reports Bring creativity to your lessons and be open to learning/sharing new skills and ideas
