Overview


We are a very busy Denture Clinic, seeking a mature detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team with 3+ years experience in a reception position, with either Dental or Medical clinic. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Dental reception experience is helpful, but we are willing to train, but clinic setting experience is necessary, and familiar with claim forms.

This position is not suitable for someone with young children, or who has a second job and/or attending post secondary education, as sometimes you are required to stay past your shift if a patient is still in the clinic. You must be fluent in the English language speaking and writing, another language is an asset.

Responsibilities



Greet and welcome patients in a friendly manner. Manage 2 line internet based phone system, directing calls appropriately and responding to inquiries. Attention to detail when entering dental estimate/claim information. Recall are big part of this position, you must feel comfortable on the phone. Provide administrative support, familiar with MS Office. Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications for various clerical duties. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with the Canadian Healthcare Act. Sterilizing and cleaning treatment rooms and dental trays is part of this job. Light cleaning of clinic duties.

Qualifications



Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on phone etiquette and client interaction. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications. Able to take direction from Denturist and Treatment Co-Ordinator. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong typing skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry and documentation. Experience in a dental and/or medical clinic setting is desirable but not mandatory. although those candidates will be given priority. We will consider a new grad of MOA/Dental Admin program. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
