We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to join our team at Villa Colombo Vaughan. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and support to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Front Desk Management:
Greet visitors, residents, and family members warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
Communication:
Answer phone calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate staff, and taking messages when necessary.
Administrative Support:
Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining resident records. Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings. Scheduling and booking tours for the home.
Visitor Coordination:
Monitor visitor logs and manage visitor access in accordance with safety protocols.
Information Dissemination:
Provide accurate information about the facility, services, and policies to residents and families.
Emergency Response:
Be aware of emergency procedures and assist in implementing them when necessary.
Collaboration:
Work closely with nursing and administrative staff to ensure smooth communication and operations.
Maintaining a Clean Environment:
Ensure the reception area is tidy and welcoming at all times.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional administrative training is a plus.
Experience:
Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Certifications:
TB 2 Step, Vulnerable Sector

- Full-time position with occasional weekends or holidays as needed.
