At Tri-City Power Equipment, we are a small, family run business that dedicates ourselves to providing excellent customer service. We have been in business since 2013 selling landscaping equipment to both professionals and consumers. We are looking for an outgoing, friendly personality as our front desk receptionist/cashier.

Responsibilities will be managing the front desk operations, ensuring that customers are greeted promptly and that administrative duties are handled efficiently. This role involves answering and directing phone calls, managing paperwork, processing transactions, assisting with inventory-related tasks, and working closely with a remote team member to assist with maintaining accurate records. A relaxed working environment with the occasional fast-pace.
Must be comfortable working with a dog present in the office.
Must also be comfortable working near machinery.
Responsibilities:
Phone and E-mail Management
: Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls and e-mails to the appropriate team members
Paperwork
: File and organize important business documents and records
Cashier Duties
: Process payments by cash and card
Warranty Registration
: Register products for warranty in an online portal
Invoicing
: E-mail invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner
Ordering Parts
: Place orders for parts twice per week (data entry only--no product selection required)
Communication
: Send information and updates to a remote employee as needed
Showroom Maintenance
: Keep showroom prices up to date by attaching new price tags to products
General Administrative Support
: Provide additional office assistance as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Proficiency in typing required
Fluent in both written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Previous experience in customer service or front desk positions preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Friendly attitude with a customer-first mindset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable with basic data entry and office software (email, invoicing software, online portals)
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
