to join our team. You will be the first point of contact for pet owners. In addition to providing excellent client service, you will play a key role in managing the flow of the clinic, coordinating with the team, and ensuring a smooth and responsive front-desk operation.
We are looking for someone to commit to at least two of the following shifts each weekend (20 - 24 hours per week).
Friday: afternoon/evening shift
Saturday: day shift
Sunday: day shift
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist clients and their pets with empathy and professionalism
Triage and manage phone calls and gather critical information
Coordinate and monitor patient flow, prioritizing emergencies and managing wait times
Maintain real-time communication with clients and the medical team to support seamless care, ensuring continuity through the weekend
Be the software 'super-user' in the clinic, training, supporting and trouble shooting to ensure accurate management of patient records
Process deposits and payments and handle client financial questions
Maintain a calm, organized, and clean reception and waiting area
Take initiative to solve problems and support clinic operations
Take a lead in administering the social media profile
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary clinic, animal hospital, medical office, or similar client service environment
Creates and fosters a supportive team environment
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to stay composed and professional during emergencies or high-stress interactions
Proficiency with computers and comfort learning new software systems
Reliable and consistent weekend availability (2 shifts per weekend required)
