Position Summary Reporting to the CFO the Receptionist works closely with other staff and is 5Blue\xe2\x80\x99s first contact with Customers, Vendors or Visitors coming through our door or dialing our phone. Duties and Responsibilities The role of the Receptionist and Accounting Clerk encompasses many activities including:

  • Maintain excellent customer service skills and professionalism;
  • Present a positive first impression when greeting and assisting visitors and vendors;
  • Manage mail, faxes, deliveries and other correspondence;
  • Accounts Payable;
  • Invoice processing, filing and other duties;
  • Assist Payroll with scanning and entering timecards;
  • Records Management System;
  • Other assigned duties as required from time to time.
Position Requirements and Qualifications The role of the Receptionist and Accounting Clerk requirements and qualifications include:
  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with Accounts Payable.
  • Working knowledge and experience with 3-way matching.
  • Good working knowledge of accounting functions.
  • Proficient computer skills with high level of accuracy.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet month-end deadlines.
Direct Reports The Receptionist and Accounting Clerk is a motivated member of a team working together in the most efficient manner. The position reports to the Chief Financial Officer. Tools, Systems, Equipment and Machinery Personal Computer/laptop with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains ands ability to quickly learn new software as much of the software has been developed in-house. Physical Requirements Sitting for periods at a time focused on a computer screen. Must be able to lift 20 lbs. Travel Requirements There is no requirement for travel. Working Environment Works in a controlled office environment. Communications Interacts in a respectful and cooperative manner with customers, inspectors, sub-contractors, suppliers and co-workers. Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion. Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully. . Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year Benefits:

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift

Experience:
  • Accounts payable: 2 years (preferred)
  • Reception: 2 years (preferred)
  • Accounting Support Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
  • Class 5 Drivers License (preferred)
