Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety of children in a childcare setting. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Provide support for children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring an inclusive environment for all. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience. Keep accurate records of children's activities, behavior, and development milestones.

Requirements

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. Background in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks effectively. Leadership qualities to guide children in their learning experiences. Familiarity with computer operation for record keeping and communication purposes. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
