We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RECE to join our team at Sheppard Business Park Child Care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This role involves engaging with children in various activities, supporting their developmental needs, and ensuring their well-being. A strong background in childcare and early childhood education is essential, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development. Provide support to children with special needs or disabilities, fostering an inclusive environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized childcare space, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible. Keep accurate records of children's activities, behaviors, and any incidents that occur. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team approach to childcare.

Skills

Strong background in childcare or early childhood education. Experience working with children, including those with disabilities. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children and parents. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Time management abilities to prioritize responsibilities effectively. Leadership qualities to guide children in group settings. Strong writing skills for documentation purposes.
