MARKETING ASSISTANT & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER (REAL ESTATE)



Part-Time Position 20-30 Hours per week, with potential to grow Flexible Hours Option for Hybrid Work

Urban Upgrade & NewInfills is a busy residential real estate team in Calgary, working with both resale buyers and sellers as well as numerous inner-city builders and developers. We set trends and raise the bar in one of the most dynamic urban markets in the country. Urban lifestyles, new infill homes, and real estate are our passion!

Our mandate is to provide exceptional service along with broad-reaching, professional home marketing for our resale and builder clients alike. We currently list/sell hundreds of homes a year, and business continues to grow.

POSITION DETAILS:



We are looking for a part-time marketing assistant to help with the following:

Manage all our corporate social media accounts (4) Create engaging content for Facebook & Instagram Promote our real estate listings and our services Maintain company branding and establish corporate image Research new social media trends Grow our social media presence and followers
Website and Blog Management:

Research topics related to real estate Prepare informative blog posts for multiple websites Maintain website branding and image Grow our web presence and online activity
Strategic Marketing/Lead Conversion:

Help to grow our business by improving website enquiries Research new opportunities for web engagement Research lead generation techniques
General Marketing Assistance (on occasion):

Assisting our marketing department with other listing related tasks like drafting property descriptions and preparing brochures Assisting our marketing department with other corporate marketing efforts such as eNewsletters, printed brochures etc.

HOURS AND LOCATION



We operate an office in Altadore (Marda Loop). Ideally, candidates would be willing to work from the office at least a few days a week during business hours (ideally Thursday and Friday) to allow for collaboration with other team members. That said, for the right candidate, we are willing to be flexible on working days and hours, and are also willing to offer a hybrid work environment.

LONG TERM GROWTH



This position is immediately part time, with approximately 20-30 hours of work. That said, there is room for this to move into a full-time position for a candidate that demonstrates a strong ability to strategize and create value for our team through improved lead generation and conversion.

OTHER SKILLS CONSIDERED ASSETS:



Experience in Real Estate and/or Interior Design Experience in Marketing and/or Copywriting Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Proficiency with Canva Experience with shared files and team collaboration on documents (Dropbox) Proficiency with Mac Computers
