We believe that a supportive workplace fosters growth and success for everyone.Position Overview: Real Estate Law ClerkAs a Real Estate Law Clerk at Wilson Cameron Law, your keen attention to detail and exceptional communication skills will be invaluable. You will manage transactions with finesse and contribute to our innovative and client-focused approach.What You\'ll Be Doing:

• Managing and streamlining residential and commercial real estate transactions from start to finish, including purchase, sale and mortgage transactions
• Conducting thorough title and off-title searches as necessary and addressing any issues that arise
• Drafting and responding to requisition letters and other correspondence between parties
• Drafting and reviewing closing and other documents with precision and expertise
• Preparing reporting letters and accounts for clients
• Collaborating with clients, realtors, lenders, mortgage brokers, other professionals and members of our team

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Real Estate Law Clerk in a law firm
• Successful completion of a post-secondary legal, paralegal or law clerk program or equivalent experience
• Highly proficient in title searches, document drafting, and transaction management
• Knowledgeable in Ontario real estate law and regulatory requirements
• Detail-oriented and organized with an eagle eye for accuracy
• Able to manage multiple simultaneous and competing demands, priorities, and tight deadlines
• Focused and able to work effectively and independently with minimal direction and supervision
• Practical and resourceful in problem solving with good judgment and decision-making skills
• Pleasant in demeanour with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Experienced in handling confidential and sensitive information professionally and with discretion
• Eager to learn and comfortable working with new technology and software programs
• Proficient in MS Office, Teraview, conveyancing programs such as Unity, Closer, etc.
• Experience with Clio would be very desirable
• Experience/knowledge in areas of corporate and/or wills and estates law is an asset
