Under the direction of the Director, Real Estate (Central Region), the Real Estate Intern shall provide support to the team and associated work related to Naawi-Oodena and real estate projects across Central Region. The Real Estate Intern contributes by researching, analyzing, coordinating and processing project inputs and information to maintain project momentum. The successful candidate will gain valuable hands-on experience and tools to support their future career in the Real Estate industry.
KEY FUNCTIONS
Supports planning, engineering/servicing, marketing and branding, and project initiatives.
Organizes and attends meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
Communicates with external multidisciplinary team members to achieve project objectives.
Assists with work with Treaty One partners on branding, site servicing, development coordination, and other matters.
Assists in managing external consultant deliverables.
Conducts site visits.
Assists in the preparation of briefs and technical documentation.
Assists in developing strategies and content for corporate communications platforms such as newsletters, bulletins, and project websites.
Participates in the preparation and implementation of annual corporate plans and schedules.
Researches and collects information, inputs and material.
Keeps up and reports on industry trends, regulatory context and planning legislation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Students currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs
Knowledge and experience in business, urban planning, engineering, or real estate development.
Experience in client relations, customer service, and basic public relations required.
Proficiency with the use of standard office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Bilingualism is considered an asset but not required.
