Tasks

Assess value of land, buildings, structures and property improvements for taxation, grants and regional planning prior to purchase or sale Collect and analyze financial records of a business, such as financial statements, budgets, projections and sales data Analyze a company's financial records to assess its competitiveness or market value Review and analyze data such as past sales, title searches, engineering and alignment maps and soil maps Review and analyze data such as location cost data and easements Produce reports Prepare presentation graphics and drawings Participate in staff meetings, educational conferences and workshops Examine financing methods, production costs and techniques and marketing policies to recommend improvements Develop financial procedures Perform financial calculations, such as costing and budgeting Prepare reports Develop feasibility studies Use real estate software packages Conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses of building projects Present own material or material prepared by others Analyze investment projects Review commercial properties to ensure that they are in line with rental markets Review budgets and spending to ensure departments operate within funding limits Build predictive models
