Skilled Installer / Shop Helper

to join our hardworking, collaborative team. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced with tools and general construction practices.

Job Responsibilities:

Install railing systems, stair stringers, handrails, and overhead glass canopies (working at heights required) Read and interpret schematics or drawings to accurately complete installation tasks Perform shop duties: cutting parts, tack welding, prepping, grinding, and sanding Build and weld components for projects as required Ensure all installations are plumb, level, and meet safety and quality standards Assist with general labour and vehicle maintenance Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site or shop space Collaborate with team members and troubleshoot installation challenges as they arise

Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with construction, welding, carpentry, or mechanical trades Proficient with hand and power tools Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship Capable of lifting and handling materials over 60 lbs (e.g., glass panels and railings) Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Valid driver's license (required) Preference given to applicants with experience in welding, shop work, carpentry, or mechanical repair
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9 per week
