Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RAD Certified Ballet instructor to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong background in ballet and a desire to educate and inspire young dancers. The instructor will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment, fostering a love for dance while ensuring the highest standards of ballet education.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate ballet curriculum aligned with RAD standards. Conduct engaging ballet classes that cater to various skill levels, ensuring all students receive personalized attention. Educate students on ballet techniques, terminology, and performance skills. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their technique and artistry. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with other instructors to plan performances and showcase events. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and class activities. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in dance education.

Requirements

RAD certification is required. Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting is essential. Background in early childhood education is preferred but not mandatory. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive atmosphere for all students. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A passion for teaching dance and nurturing young talent. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 10 months

Pay: $33.50-$37.50 per hour
