QUALITY TECHNICIAN JOB POSTING

Rhema Health Products Limited is a contract manufacturer of natural health products, dietary supplements, and foods.. Rhema is currently seeking an individual to join the Quality department for day shift.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS :

- Must be able to work mornings for 8.5 hours as early as 5:30am.

- Must be local and living in the Greater Vancouver Area. Must have a car and be able to drive to work daily (bus service timing will not work for this position).

- Bachelor's degree in applicable scientific discipline (biochemistry, food science, etc.) or at least one year of experience in Quality Assurance/ Quality Control at a manufacturing plant.

- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and HACCP for natural health products or food.

- Good organization and time management skills.

- Ability to work in a dynamic work environment

- Willing to work overtime and some afternoon shift and weekends as business continues to grow

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Perform pre-operational inspection and line clearance activities. Perform in-process checks and ensure that the finished product meets specifications and requirements. Ensure that manufacturing operations are conducted as per the documented SOPs. Verify sanitation activities and perform swabs. Perform GMP and environmental monitoring. Perform testing on finished products. Complete and maintain GMP records. Create specifications and enter test results in ERP system. Artwork/Label review Packaging component testing Regulatory support Report any deviations, assist in investigations, and verify implementation of corrective actions. Provide support and complete projects as needed.

SECONDARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Back up coverage for sampling in-coming raw materials and preparing samples to be sent to 3rd party labs. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
