Overview: Reporting to the QC Manager, you will be working cross-functionally throughout the organization to move validated projects to completion.
What We're Looking For
As QC Technician and with other Team Members you will assist in meeting QC goals and objectives, while maintaining Food Safety and Health & Safety policies and procedures. We are looking for an individual who can work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. They must be comfortable with tight deadlines and have a superior attention to detail. The ideal candidate should be well organized and reliable.
Responsibilities:
Conduct daily monitoring of facility and personnel to ensure compliance to the food safety system of the facility; perform formal audit on GMP as required
Collect product samples according to schedule, and document the details of samples
Perform allergen, environmental and product sampling at the set frequency as per procedure and as needed
Compile, organize and analyse information derived from external testing as well as various internal analysis
Extract ATP swabbing results, compile the results, analyze the trend
Responsible for sample submission documentation and shipping out of samples to outside labs for testing
Establish professional relationships and clear communication with external labs on specifics and testing needs
Responsible for maintaining special sampling requirements for company and customers and when required, analyze/submit samples
Follow nutritional compliance testing program and coordinate with appropriate department for sample collection and submission
Immediately report results discovered to be out of specification to the production and the quality assurance manager.
Ensure finished products are tested, hold and release procedure followed
Ensure products are tested internally for physical, chemical parameters according to the specification requirements
Perform calibration and verification of various equipment and instruments at the set frequency as per procedure, keep track and coordinate external calibration needs
Participate in validation studies of processes, PCPs and equipment's, gather and organize data.
Assisting in investigation of non-conformances and deviations in the program
Responsible for maintaining the right lab supplies and ordering needed consumables.
Co-ordinate with QC techs on floor and assisting with specs implementation
Assist QC manager in internal audits and third-party audits on topics related to Environmental and Product Monitoring Programs
Act as a backup in performing sanitation efficacy monitoring in the facility, such as ATP, T0 swabbing and visual inspections.
Any other duties as assigned by QC Manager
Qualifications:
Fluent English speaking, reading and writing
QC college courses and/or professional experience
Able to stand for longer periods and work from Monday to Saturday
