Job Summary:


Reporting to the General Manager, the Quality Systems Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulations. This role plays a key part in driving product reliability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across all stages of the CO? refrigeration system manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop & maintain quality system procedures with guidance from the General Manager and seek continuous improvement. Ensure documentation control, process standardization, and compliance with industry and customer quality standards Perform QA & QC functions in consultation with other departments (engineering, production, purchasing, etc.) Timely review of equipment turnover documentation against URS requirements Participation in initiating, investigating, communicating, and documenting internal or supplier non-conformities (NC's) Initiate, document, communicate, and expedite internal and external corrective actions Manage process/purchase QA, the internal audit program and clarify product acceptance criteria. Learn, communicate, and implement new design and product license QA/QC requirements

Qualifications and Skills:



Mechanical/Manufacturing/Quality Engineer or Technologist with a minimum of 2 year's practical experience within a similar environment Experience with Quality Systems and maintaining and managing processes Familiarity with stainless steel fabrication and machining practices Familiarity with sub-contract/supplier QA planning and QC surveillance Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and be computer literate Capable of prioritizing/scheduling/completing tasks in line with departmental and performance goals Attention to relevant detail Understand the importance of teamwork and have a positive impact on the team Valid driver's license - Drivers Abstract may need to be provided Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
