Looking for your next opportunity in the fast-paced and exciting field of automotive manufacturing? Look no further! Join our team as the newest Quality Supervisor on our DAY SHIFT! Your daily responsibilities will include: Participate in the APQP process for each new and revised part.
Coordinate the quality start up and containment plans as required.
Ensure that all quality documents meets the requirement of the process.
Provide leadership in the administration of the corporate policy objectives.
Develop and implement training plans for the quality and production personnel to ensure conformance. Assist in the training process of Operators in performing quality requirements on part specific processes.
Supervise all inspectors and technicians if applicable at the plant location.
Participate in the Guelph Tool Inc. Health and Safety program, as deemed necessary.
Manage the corrective action system for both internal and external rejections including disposition of material.
Oversees the In-Plant Discrepancy reports, Defective Material reports and the Return Material Authorization reports with cross function team members such as the Plant Manager, Production Manager, Manufacturing personnel and other as required in the process.
Provide for good customer relations and satisfaction for the purpose of problem solving, prevention and resolution. This includes working with both the Customer and Supplier in meeting the governmental and regulatory requirements needed to achieve appropriate satisfaction.
Meet with Customer/Suppliers, as required to resolve any issues that may arise through corrective actions concerns.
Analyze the Statistical Process Control (SPC) data and provide appropriate coordination of corrective action.
Provide for review of monthly Q.O.S. data and forward to the Corporate Quality for analysis.
Ensure that the Quality Management System of the Corporation (plant) is being adhered to.
Review and participate in gauge studies on measurement systems to facilitate continual improvements as required.
Must have the ability to calibrate small measuring tools (verniers & micrometers) using certified gage blocks.
Understanding of non-destructive, design of experiment and reliability. What are we looking for? A minimum of 3 - 5 years of quality experience in a high paced automotive manufacturing environment relating to stamping, roll & wire forming, welding, and assembly process.
Core Tools knowledge and working experience including APQP, PFMEA and PPAP, MSA, SPC.
GD&T training and experience.
Able to interpret CMM reports.
Problem solving methods and tools.
Gauge and Fixture knowledge.
Auditing experience.
Leadership experience.
