At Mattr, we have built a true team environment where all employees are empowered to contribute to the success of the company.We want you to join our team!THE ROLEThe Quality Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of the QMS at the plant level, supporting multiple plants as assigned. This position is responsible for coordinating activities for quality team members who are involved in the testing and inspection of materials and in-process product, and for auditing processes against internal and external standards. The Quality Coordinator will investigate non-conformances and follow them through corrective action, to implementation and resolution. The Quality Coordinator is responsible to coordinate, administer, maintain and validate the QMS process to ensure they are compliant to internal/ external policies and standards.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implements and manages quality plan to ensure alignment to strategic targets and goals.
  • Mentor, coach and monitor quality inspectors and technicians, provide support and assistance when required.
  • Supports Supervisor in developing strategy, identifying potential future quality projects and activities, also supporting QMS and MMS Implementation.
  • Leads and models best practices in leadership and MMS.
  • Participate or lead Quality related incident investigations from Root Cause Analysis to Corrective Action, assignment, and implementation
  • Comply with all operations and Quality related processes.
  • Lead Quality initiatives at site level.
  • In collaboration with Quality Team, write detailed technical inspection & testing work instructions, visual boards, checklist and standard operating procedures.
  • Acts as first point of contact for any escalation of quality issues and problems at site level.
  • Audit facilities and work being performed for QMS and MMS compliance, write audit reports, and conduct follow-up on Corrective Actions until closure.
  • Administer and provide training on the Quality Management System elements.
  • Participate in Lean Enterprise (MMS) and corporate optimization programs.
  • Support Best in Class and MMS best practices
  • Collaborate with other departments through cross-functional teams and meetings
  • Perform technical quality system training for other departments
  • Perform special inspections & testing as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3 years of prior experience in Quality related roles preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to write detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Training and experience in ISO9001 and or APIQ1 requirements and Quality System Audits
  • Proven quality expertise and passion for developing a strong quality culture.
