Quality Control Technician

Job Description

As a Quality Control Technician, you will play a vital role in our processing facility

Responsibilities



Conducting pre-operational inspections, correct any deviations and share finding with sanitation team

Monitoring and ensuring personal hygiene standards are being followed

Monitoring that all policies and procedures are being followed related to quality and sanitation are being met at all times

Work closely with Production Supervisor on scheduling of employees work instructions and daily job duties.

Perform in-process quality checks during production operations.

Responsible for taking temperatures, labels, packaging verification, and monitoring of Critical Control Points (CCPs).

Overseeing the plant sanitation team .

Good organizational abilities with an acute attention to detail.

Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Able to work long hours when needed in a cool damp environment

Qualifications:



High school diploma or equivalent.

Some computer knowledge needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 42.5 per week
