Responsibilities
Deliverables
\xc2\xb7 Perform a quality check on a broad range of money laundering investigations.
\xc2\xb7 Evaluate ML/TF risk by conducting quality checks on cases/alerts as part of the controls of client\'s AML and ATF program.
\xc2\xb7 Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts.
\xc2\xb7 Evaluate potentially suspicious account activity. Recognize and evaluate accounts and activity and effectively document recommendations regarding account retention and/or regulatory reporting obligations.
\xc2\xb7 Provide trend analysis of AML/ATF findings and gaps to the Management for review.
\xc2\xb7 Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite.
\xc2\xb7 Manage ambiguity and apply judgment to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve ongoing business and operational issues.
\xc2\xb7 Assist the QC function with developing/drafting and maintaining written policies, procedures and/or programs/frameworks to minimize compliance breaches and monitor adherence to applicable regulations/requirements.
\xc2\xb7 Prioritize and manage workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity.
\xc2\xb7 Serve as a subject matter expert in a quality control function and serve as knowledge and process expert to others.
\xc2\xb7 Effectively work independently with minimal supervision within a team environment to complete a common goal and prioritize daily workload to meet department objectives.Qualifications
Qualifications
\xc2\xb7 3+ years in relevant AML or financial crime-related roles required.
\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of FINTRAC guidelines, PCMLTFA/R, and FATF recommendations
\xc2\xb7 CAMS certification an asset
\xc2\xb7 CFCS certification an asset
\xc2\xb7 Experience working with Refinitiv/Lexus Nexus/Dow Jones, and Actimize technology solutions is an asset.
\xc2\xb7 Experience in QC\'ing Suspicious Transaction Reports or/and other regulatory reports is an asset.Required Skills\xc2\xb7 Proficient with FINTRAC guidelines
