Quality Control Administrative Assistant

Position Overview
The
Quality Control Administrative Assistant
plays an important role in supporting our Quality Control Manager and QC team. This position focuses on assembling and organizing project quality documentation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring all documentation meets company, client, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
Assemble and maintain
Quality Control documentation packages
for fabrication projects.
Support the QC Manager in preparing and reviewing inspection reports, weld maps, and material test reports (MTRs).
Organize and maintain digital and physical quality records in accordance with company and client standards.
Track and update logs for ITPs, NDE reports, pressure test records, and other quality deliverables.
Communicate with subcontractors, inspectors, and project staff to collect and verify required documents.
Assist in the preparation of documents for internal and external audits.
Contribute to improving document control and quality management processes.
Qualifications
Minimum
2 years of administrative experience
, preferably in construction, fabrication, or industrial environments.
Familiarity with quality control documentation (MTRs, ITPs, weld procedures, etc.) is an asset.
Proficient in
Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, Excel, Outlook) and PDF editing tools like Bluebeam.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and record-keeping skills.
