Drumlin Plasma is a local plasma collection center. The plasma we collect is used in the manufacture of diagnostic kits for bleeding disorders.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Manager to oversee our quality assurance and control processes. The ideal candidate will be very detail orientated and can perform their duties with minimal supervision. Quality Manager will collaborate with various departments to implement effective quality control measures and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role is a 12-18 month term position, with the possibility of turning into a permanent position.
Responsibilities
Responsible for Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality control and overall regulatory compliance.
Maintains oversight of employee training program by ensuring compliance to training requirements.
Maintains and audits employee training records and files.
Maintains all Donor Records.
Ensures that job and center annual training (i.e. WHMIS, First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogen) is completed, documented, and on file.
Collaborates with the General Manager to ensure the donor center operates in a way that assures plasma quality, suitability, donor and employee safety.
Responsible for all aspects of internal and external audits including audit prep, execution, response, implementation of corrective/preventative actions, assessment of corrective actions, and follow-up as required.
Continuously assesses, promotes, and improves the effectiveness of quality and training systems in the donor center through recognition of trends, investigation of failures in the execution of procedures, and direct observations.
Ensures that all supplies and materials ordered meet quality requirements prior to use and are stored appropriately.
Performs Product Release Activities.
Skills
Strong attention to detail.
A self starter.
Familiarity with Quality Assurance principles, including QA/QC processes.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
Ability to focus on team collaboration and continuous improvement.

Pay: $61,171.90-$70,000.00 per year
