Then you may be ready to take on the overall responsibility of a Quality Assurance Lead at Apply Digital.
As a Quality Assurance Lead within Apply Digital, you will help contribute to the overall company strategy by validating that the application meets design specifications and requirements. This includes iOS applications, Android applications, Web applications, Voice Recognition, AR, IoT, and any other digital to human interfaces. The products should be tested in terms of functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with the supported devices, browsers, and user interfaces.
WHAT YOU\'LL DO:

  • Define QA project requirements and QA deliverables (for both manual and automated QA activities) based on scope
  • Ensure all QA deliverables meet Apply\xe2\x80\x99s high level of quality standards
  • Oversee and provide mentorship for a small group of QA team members
  • Monitor and uphold the overall quality health of assigned projects
  • Proactively identify and escalate critical issues, blockers, and risks in a timely manner to minimize the impact on project timelines
  • Provide hands-on test support when necessary to verify front-end and back-end changes, user workflows, database, API, security, performance, mobile device, browsers
  • Manage a list of defects according to Apply\xe2\x80\x99s standards in a bug tracking system
  • Work collaboratively within high-performance teams (e.g. product managers, developers, UI, and UX designers) to champion product quality for our clients
  • Assist in the removal of blockers/obstacles so that projects are delivered in a timely manner
  • Actively participate in all Scrum ritual including requirement reviews, daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, etc.
  • Proactively help improve quality methodologies /processes within the organization to increase efficiency and redundancy
  • Represent the customer\xe2\x80\x99s voice when it comes to the high-quality expectation that our client entrusts in us.

WHAT YOU\'LL NEED:

  • You have a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
  • You have 7+ years of experience in a similar role
  • You have a deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes for both manual and automated testing practices
  • You have experience owning, prioritizing, and managing all QA activities and deliverables within the SDLC
  • You have experience guiding and providing mentorship to other more junior QA team members within a project delivery team
  • You have an strong understanding of Agile/Scrum development principles
  • You are experienced in cross-browser, UI/UX, and iOS/Android/Desktop/API testing
  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You\xe2\x80\x99re self-driven and take ownership of tasks from beginning to completion
  • You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You are able to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • You are detail-oriented, incredibly meticulous, and you enjoy the fine attention to detail required to spot, prevent, and troubleshoot any issues before our clients find them
  • You have experience creating and maintaining test automation scripts (optional)
  • Experience within the Telecommunication industry is an asset
